Verdict: Almost interesting, but too tedious for me.
What is this game? Well, it's hard to say. You seem to be a little 2D guy in a raincoat who gets sucked through a mysterious portal to a realm where everything is floaty. And glowy. But otherwise there's no plot, no explanation, almost no text whatsoever. Despite this, there's just barely enough guidance along the way to teach you the controls. So the point of the game seems to be to deliberately explore this unknown. You don't know what to expect, but when it happens it makes a sort of sense that's easy to deal with. Overall, the mood is so dreamlike that I must assume the weirdness was all very carefully crafted. This game does a lot stylistically within its limitations.
The first thing you do is figure out that you must shoot monsters and then claim their glowy bits until you have enough to exit the level, much like in Magic Carpet (in theory). This similarity comes naturally since both games put you into an alien situation where you have to figure out what you can do through experimentation.
The game also seems to have a lot in common with Seiklus: a deliberately "minimal" pixely style of graphics, albeit with lots of details and a strong emphasis on color; very subtle noises and use of ambient music; a tiny character in a world infused with nature; lack of dialogue and exposition. Oh yeah, and they both seem to have been made with Game Maker; I don't know whether that's just a coincidence (because I'm not familiar with the GameMaker culture).
After I got past the initial adjustment-to-weirdness period, I decided this game requires too much drudgery for me to continue farther. There's nothing wrong with the puzzles in this game except that after I recognized them for what they were, I realized I've done them a hundred times before. However, it may still be worth a look just to check out the style. The style, man.
