I think there is something to be said for forcing oneself to make something without any expectations and without allowing self to meditate so much as to get stuck in meditation and not actually produce anything. I mean... it works in artwork and in writing, right? Maybe what is produced isn't perfect and lacks direction, but maybe once in a while it turns out beautiful, and it's better that it exists than not. And I can say that our recent work has been productive and fun simply because I'm not feeling responsible for making it "perfect".
