Verdict: Simple and very accessible action games. Bonus points if you dig sprites.

This website has several "neo-retro" games that you can pick up and play anywhere Flash is installed. The games are simple, both in premise and stakes, but the amount of care and detail invested really makes them appreciable.

My favorite one is the space shooter Gamma Bros, which is modest by the modern-day standards of "bullet hell", though the gradual difficulty rate is interesting enough for me.

My girlfriend has played enough Dino Run that I found her schooling me when I played it in front of her.
